As someone who has never played Undertale Yellow, I fully thought this was gonna be like, a multiplayer mod with Frisk, Chara, and Clover oops

I absolutely love the alphys ending. Except for when I played geno for the first time. I thought I could beat mettaton, and get back to the grind. There’s no message telling you to not go any further before you fight him like there is in waterfall, and the save points still show the number of monsters left once you defeat him, even though you can’t get encounters anymore. I thought it would be fine to save. Got this ending because it is technically an aborted geno after undyne, even if it’s right at the very end. Had to do the entire thing over the next day lol. Also what made it more painful is I had literally one monster left. A single one prevented me from being able to get to the pain and suffering, and instead gave me _annoying_ pain and suffering by having to redo all of the grinding lol.

Do you need anything specific to be a beta tester? Can you still be one?

after section 3 and before section 4 (the snowdin town part) is just regular undertale snowdin except its like 30 minutes before frisk comes through since, section 1 when you go all the way back to the start after toriel frisk is just there

If each chapter could have separate data, that means it'd be the easiest way to go to any chapter with whatever route you want since you could just replace each save file with existing ones. Epic! :D

as a GM user, this does raise some questions to me, like about how efficient this truly might be. If there's, say, a bug in Kris' general movement or the battle system as a whole, Toby would have to fix that individually in _each_ chapter's data file, wouldn't he?

okay i know this video is old, but im saying it anyway. Shayy mentioned that the undertale genocide route is boring, and thats a problem. Thats the point. Genocide is supposed to be unfun, and tedious. The entire point is that you don't feel good doing it, there's no incentive to do it, and you should be displeased during the act of committing it. Thats literally what sans' monologue during the end of his fight is about.
